sermon by Bishop Martin Devarteil
I must know the things that have been given to me. God is not man that He should lie, and therefore, if He says He has given, He has given and therefore, we should get into thanks giving mode.
The degree to which I know the truth, is the degree to which I am free. My truth level determines my freedom level. Facts is enemy to Truth. Facts is happenings and experience around us.
John 17:17
The will of God is and should be my reality, everything else is a mirage. I may be feeling and seeing certain happenings but it’s all a mirage, it isn’t real. The only truth is the will of God for my life.
Mark 11:13-14
Outside of normal time and season, Jesus had an expectation. In the natural, Jesus’s expectation was unreasonable, but in the supernatural, circumstances must operate within the timing of the expectation of us.
In every situation and circumstance I find myself, it was built for me, and therefore must response to me favorably. Ghana was built for me, and therefore, must respond to me favorable.
When Jesus spoke, the tree responded immediately. Therefore, when Jesus cursed the tree, it died immediately He cursed it. As Christian we say to see, the disciples only saw it the next day, but for Jesus the tree died when He cursed it.
Therefore when we speak or curse circumstances, we speak to its root, and must be carefully to not revive them or give them life.
When you know you have power over something you can have rest and you can have peace. A person who walks in truth is not guided by negative reports.
Romans 4:19-21
When God gives you a promise, you stand on that promise giving glory to God, and not doubting it.
“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”
When God told Peter to come out of the water, to walk with Him, He also spoke to the storm and the waters that my son is coming.
